FIELD: medicine, chemical engineering, fire fighting facilities, perfumery. SUBSTANCE: proposed capsule can be used as source of gas for gas-filled articles. Capsule has gastight housing accommodating particles of sorbent saturated with gas and is provided with outlet sealing channel. Housing has sorbent-free space whose volume is sufficient for keeping preset amount of sorbable gas in solid phase which is to be filled in. Method of capsule filling comes to placing sorbent into capsule capable of retaining sorbent particles and releasing gas from capsule, and charging gas with sorbent. Sorbent-free space is formed inside capsule into which preset amount of gas in solid phase is charged. EFFECT: simplified and facilitated processes of building gauge pressure in aerosol and other gas-filled articles, increased safety in operation. 10 cl, 5 dwg
