FIELD: measurement technology; manufacture of ammonia sensors for automated systems of monitoring gas composition of technological media. SUBSTANCE: proposed sensor includes resistive semiconductor sensitive element with comb-like electrodes with gas-sensitive layer applied to it; gas-sensitive layer includes metallocomplexes of porphyrins. Methoxy and carbomethoxy groups are introduced into porphyrin molecule for enhancing sensitivity and selectivity. To enhanced wettability of surface and obtain more smooth film of gas-sensitive agent, surfactant C16H33(CH3)3 (hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) is used.
