SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel steroids of the general formula: where R₁ is O, (H, OH) or H₂; R₂ is OH possibly etherified or esterified; R₃ is C₂-C₆-alkynyl possibly substituted with hydroxy-group; R₄ is CN, C₁-C₆-alkyl, C₁-C₆-alkoxy-group, C₂-C₆- alkenyl, C₂-C₆-alkylinyl, C₂-C₆-alkylidene possibly substituted with halogen atom, hydroxyor C₁-C₆-alkoxy-group; R₅ is H or C₁-C₆-alkyl. Steroids are active component of medicinal preparation or pharmaceutical composition used for treatment or prophylaxis of menopause diseases, especially, osteoporosis.
