FIELD: microbiological methods. SUBSTANCE: fermentation is carried out in artificial medium consisting of test green pulp and 6-10% of potassium chloride solution (3:10 ratio), to which 2.0-3.0% sugar is added. pH difference between artificial medium without additives and with bacterial preparation additive after 24 h storage at 25-30 C (x) correlates with pH difference between analogous feed variants made from cured grasses three days after ensilage (y), which is estimated as effect caused by use of bacterial preparations and calculated in terms of following equation: y = 0.25 + 3.2x 2.5x2. EFFECT: simplified and accelerated estimation. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl, 2 ex
