FIELD: special electrometallurgy, particularly, equipment for electroslag facing. SUBSTANCE: mold has four circular water-cooled sections arranged in height. Upper section has protective graphite lining and serves as current lead section, two lower sections are molding. Installed between upper current-lead section and lower molding one is additional section made of conducting material electrically insulated from upper and lower sections with insulating liner. Power source has two current leads. The first current lead is connected to upper current-lead section and the second current lead is connected to the article to be faced. Made in upper current-lead and additional sections are axial through recesses in which insulating liners are installed. The first current lead is connected to one end of upper current-lead split section on boundary with recess. EFFECT: provision of electroslag facing of articles with improved electromechanical properties of faced metal due to better mixing of molten metal in slag bath by increased rotation speed of slag bath. 3 cl, 3 dwg
