FIELD: non-destructive testing of articles. SUBSTANCE: device for ultrasonic inspection of articles having complex form of bodies of revolution can also be used to detect flaws n shafts, axles of machines and mechanisms. Device for ultrasonic inspection includes working part coming in the form of cone, case being damper at same time, protector functioning as prism with piezoelement put on it at certain inclination angle. It has acoustically separated protectors with piezoelements anchored at different angles for input of ultrasonic waves. One piezoelement is attached to protector at angle of turn relative to plane passing through symmetry axis of converter and point of input of ultrasonic oscillations which is predominantly from 5 to 30 degrees. Angle of input of ultrasonic oscillations of lateral waves amounts to 54-58 degrees or to 23-27 degrees or 41-45 degrees. Hole to feed contact liquid which diameter depends on viscosity of liquid can be drilled in center of case. EFFECT: decreased time and enhanced authenticity of inspection. 5 cl, 2 dwg
