METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: vodka "Bryansk" is prepared from ethyl rectified alcohol "Lux", sorbitol, glycine, glucose and water. Aqueous-alcoholic solution is prepared so that to produce vodka of 40% strength. Prepared solution is thoroughly mixed by passing through carbon-cleaning battery with speed of filtration up to 40 dal/h for fresh carbon, and up to 30 dal/h, for regenerated one. Prepared vodka is directed to finishing tank. Sorbitol and glucose are separately dissolved in corrected water and introduced in succession in finishing tank with intermediate mixing. Glycine is also dissolved in corrected water. Content of finishing tank is mixed, corrected, if necessary, introduced is aqueous solution of glycine, finally filtered and directed for bottling.
