METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing an aqueous-spirituous solution as measured to obtain vodka with proof 40%. Obtained aqueous-spirituous solution is stirred thoroughly and passed through carbon-cleansing battery at the filtration rate up to 40 dal/p. of fresh carbon and up to 30 dal/p. of regenerated carbon. Obtained vodka is fed to finishing tank. Iodinated sodium chloride, food sorbitol and fructose are dissolved separately in corrected vodka, filtered, added into finishing tank, stirred thoroughly after addition of each filtrate, vodka proof is tested and poured under condition of obligatory control of filtration. Ready vodka has the following ratio of components, kg/1000 dal of ready product: iodinated sodium chloride, 0.09-0.15; sorbitol, 0.9-1.2; fructose, 5.5-6.5 and rectified ethyl alcohol "LUKS" and corrected water are taken as measured to obtain the proof of blend 40%.
