METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF VODKA "ALKON" Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic-drinks production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, blend is prepared so as to obtain vodka with strength of 40%. Blend is made of ethyl rectified alcohol of "de luxe" grade and water which is treated by method of reverse osmosis. Blend is purified by passing through carbon-cleaning battery and is directed to processing tank. Fructose is mixed with glycerin in proportion of 6:1, is solved in water treated by reverse osmosis method, matured during 30-40 min and then is introduced into ready vodka, blend is stirred, and at end of process directly before filtering, introduced is alcohol solution of vanillin (proportion is (1:100). Ready vodka of "ALKON" grade has following proportion of ingredients, kg per 1000 gal of ready product: glycerin 0.7-0.9, fructose 4.2-5.4, alcohol solution (1: 100) of vanillin 0.05-0.07, ethyl rectified alcohol of "LYUX" grade and water treated by reverse osmosis method - the balance. Aforesaid combination of operations together with specific selection of ingredients and their proportioning ensure production of novel vodka made according to simplified procedure.
