FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out barrier type argon laser coagulation of the retina on the subretinal cavity boundary and single YAG-laser retinopuncture on the inferior boundary of the cavity. Then, retina adjacency zone argon laser coagulation is carried out in three stages 2-3 weeks later. The coagulants are deposited along the straight line joining the optic nerve disk fossa and retinopuncture on the same side with macula. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 5 dwg
