FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out skin and fat incision with two circular incisions enveloping the umbilicus. Skin and fat layer is prepared within the boundaries of the anterior abdominal wall. Excessive fat and skin layer is removed within the boundaries of the round incisions enveloping it. Excessive fat is removed from the prepared area. Wound edges are brought together by applying intradermal purse string suture over the external outlines of the wound and tightening the suture. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of surgical correction.
