FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: the device has the volume under investigation with model hearths of fire, at least one header with sprayers connected through a pipe-line to the shut-off actuating member of the fire extinguisher, in addition it is provided with a controller, timer and a detection unit, and the model hearths of fire are positioned in the form of a matrix with diffusion-flame burners, each of them through the first pipe-line, fuel pump and the first main valve is connected to the fuel mixture reservoir, each model hearth of fire is additionally provided with an individual valve, spark transducer, hoist, thermocouple, sampler, the first, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth outputs of the controller are connected respectively to the hoist input, the first input of the individual valve, spark transducer, timer, control input of the shut-off actuating member, sampler and control input of the newly introduced second main valve, and the second output of the controller is connected at the same time to the fuel pump input and the control input of the first main valve, the timer output is connected at the same time to the second input of the controller and the first input of the detection unit, whose output is connected to the fifth input of the controller, at the same time the thermocouple output is connected to the fourth input of the controller and the second input of the detection unit, and the first and third inputs of the controller serve as the inputs for introduction of data and signals from the fire detectors, the sampler is made as a vessel filled with cellular plastic and movable screens are placed between the model hearths of fire in the volume under investigation.
