SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of phenanthridine of the general formula (I) and (II) and their salts where R₁ means aromatic carbocyclic residue originating from benzene or naphthalene or it means heterocyclic residue originating from furan, thiophene or pyridine. R₁ can involve one or some substituents which are taken among monoamino-, alkylamino-, dialkylamino-, alkyl-, alkoxy-, alkyleneoxy- group and halogen atom; R₂ and R₃ can be similar or different and mean hydrogen atom, alkoxyl-group, alkyleneoxyl-group, halogen atom or nitro-group. Invention relates to also methods of synthesis of indicated compounds and medicinal agent eliciting antitumor, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory activity and containing these compounds.
