FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: copolymers are prepared at constant temperature in liquid monomer suspension in presence of (i) catalyst, in particular titanium salt applied on magnesium salt or vanadium compound soluble in hydrocarbon solvents, said catalyst being either deposited on inert material or preliminarily polymerized, (ii) cocatalyst consisting essentially of organoaluminum compound, and optionally (iii) chlorinated activator. At polymerization reactor outlet, reaction mix is supplemented by solid material insoluble in reaction medium and suspended in liquid monomer, said solid material represents at least 0.05% (commonly 0.5 to 8%) based on the weight of polymer product. Unreacted monomers are removed by evaporation and flowing polymer is recovered in the form of particles.
