FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing germination of seed mixture of three test crops, namely small radish, salad and timothy, for 10-12 days after 20-min soaking in water heated to 30 C and two-hour drying on filtering paper in soil to be tested, with soil being selected in 20-cm depth root layer with 60% moisture content of full moisture capacity, with 12-hour radiation of 5,000 lux (per day); determining emergency rate of seed mixture by calculating emergency percentage. According to the percentage, three soil fatigue levels are set: low level (with emergency rate of at least 76%); average level (50-70%) and high level (49% and less). According to soil fatigue level, the utility of soil employment in agricultural production is established.
