FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposal is meant to determine mass flow rate in pipe-line with employment of flowmeters based on Coriolis effect placed outside or inside pipe-line. Flowmeter has inlet to isolate portion of flow in pipe-line and to direct it into flowmeter and outlet to return material passing through flowmeter placed inside pipe- line. Outlet for material is linked to pipe-line across section in which rate of flow in pipe-line rises which is achieved with the use of Venturi tube. In another version of flowmeter Venturi tube is formed by surface of body of flowmeter based on Coriolis effect. Outlet for material is joined to Venturi tube in zone of its neck. Aid measuring pressure differential used to determine viscosity of material is linked to inlet and outlet. Microprocessor computes total mass flow rate in pipe-line by addition of mass flow rate through flowmeter to mass flow rate in Venturi tube. EFFECT: raised accuracy of measurement of mass flow rate of material with low density and variable viscosity. 31 cl, 7 dwg
