FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining genotypes of genome locus having gene allele. V64 gene CCR2 polymorphism genotyping is carried out in patients under examination. Genome locus of 3q21 containing chemokine CCR2 receptor gene allele being detected with G substituted by A in one hundred ninetieth position of the coding part leading to change of V to I in the sixty fourth position of amino acid protein sequence of CCR2 641 protein, genetic predisposition to myocardial infarction in male patients is diagnosed. EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
