FIELD: mechanical engineering; prechamber-torch ignition engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has cylinder with piston, cylinder head in which combustion chamber is made and prechamber with spark plug communicating with combustion chamber through nozzle channel. Intake manifold placed into communication with fuel metering element and throttle valve. Prechamber is connected with supply main line furnished with air fuel metering devices. Drive booster is placed in supply main line before air metering element. Booster can be mechanically coupled with shaft or driven by electric motor. It can be furnished with bypass pipe accommodating shutoff member united with air metering element of supply main line. Such design provides filling of prechamber with fresh charge at different positions of throttle valve in intake manifold and at any shaft speed. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation over entire range of load and speed of shaft. 10 cl, 4 dwg
