FIELD: glass production. SUBSTANCE: process that can be utilized on lines manufacturing glass by float method consists in that float glass manufacture involves creation of forced motion of tin melt in bath by the aid of an stirring means system. The system can comprise mechanical and/or electrotechnical, and/or airlift, and/or any other stirring means in any combination. Within 1015-810 C temperature zone, stirring is effected in transversal direction of melt bath, and within 810-600 C temperature zone in predominantly longitudinal direction: from the head section of bath toward its outlet end.
