FIELD: biotechnology, genetic and protein engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing peptide-simulators of an antigenic determinant of protein gp120 of human immunodeficiency virus type-1, HIV-1, using phage display that is recognized by virus-neutralizing monoclonal antibodies 2G12. Peptides simulating a full-sized glycoprotein gp120 are obtained by method of affinity selection based on binding with virus-neutralizing antibodies 2G12. Peptides are exposed on surface of filamentous bacteriophages in composition of "minor" envelope protein pIII being each phage particle comprises 5 copies of a single peptide. EFFECT: improved method of peptides preparing. 4 dwg, 2 ex
