FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines operating at preset time. Proposed method of delivery of liquid into combustion chamber of internal combustion engine comes to delivery of water to cylinder head, delivery of water into combustion chamber after getting of piston in top dead center and ignition of fuel mixture by opening accumulating chamber under action of pressure built in combustion chamber. At idle stroke spring presses bushing to stopper preventing getting of water into combustion chamber. At working stroke, pressure in engine cylinder acts onto bushing shifting it along axis and compressing the spring, and water turned into steam under action of high temperature is delivered into combustion chamber. Device for implementing proposed method is presented in description of invention. EFFECT: increased efficiency of engine, reduced toxicity of exhaust gases. 3 cl, 1 dwg
