FIELD: metal working industry branches, namely, manufacture of parts in milling machines. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes meter of spindle rotation angle engaging with upper end of spindle; two motion pickups inclined one relative to another by right angle and designed for engaging with cylindrical surface of milling cutter in order to sense its radial beating; three motion pickups for measuring rectilinearity error. First of said pickups is arranged in housing of machine tool and it engages with lateral surface of cantilever; second pickup is secured to cantilever and it engages with lateral surface of slide; third pickup is secured to slide and it engages with lateral surface of table. On lateral surfaces of cantilever, slide, and table there are tracks worked with high accuracy and designed for contact with sensing tips of above mentioned three pickups. Signals of pickups through interface are fed to computer. EFFECT: enhanced quality of milled part due to evaluation of its production error before termination of milling process. 1 dwg
