FIELD: precision working of parts in lathes. SUBSTANCE: at turning part in lathe motion pickups detect positions of part axis and cutter apex in three-dimensional space in dependance upon spindle rotation angle detected by means of rotation angle pickup. Amplified signals of pickups are fed to computer for performing calculations and constructing geometrical image of part cross section with use of developed program that allows to calculate flexible axis "spindle-chuck-part" according to known formulae and to construct geometry image of part in three-dimensional space. Geometry image of part is used for determining normalized accuracy factors. Then frequency, amplitude and phase of subtuning signal are calculated and said signal is fed to power amplifier, amplified signal is fed to oscillator. The last provides oscillations of cutter in order to receive higher accuracy factors at turning process. EFFECT: monitoring part manufacture according to several normalized accuracy factors, automatic accuracy control for receiving optimal accuracy factors. 2 cl, 2 ex
