FIELD: turning of precision parts in lathes. SUBSTANCE: at turning part in lathe motion pickups detect position of part apex and cutter tip in space depending upon spindle rotation angle registered by means of rotation angle pickup. Amplified signals are fed to computer for calculating and constructing (with use of developed program) geometry image of part cross section. Program allows to calculate according to well known formulae elastic axis of spindle-chuck-part system and to construct geometrical image of part in three-dimensional space. Normalized accuracy factors are determined according to geometrical image of part. Then frequency, amplitude and phase of tuning signal applied to power amplifier are calculated. Amplified signal is fed to oscillator for oscillating cutter. It provides possibility of making part with higher accuracy demands.
