FIELD: mining industry, alleviation of tailing dumps of concentrating mills. SUBSTANCE: process of erection of alluvial man-made deposit includes pouring off and layer-by- layer build-up of guarding and separating dams with formation of external and internal technological sections of beach, laying of main and distribution pulp lines, layer-by-layer dispersed alleviation of tailings on beach. Salient feature of process consists in laying of distribution pulp line over crest of guarding dam, pouring off and build-up of separating dam are conducted with use of non-filtering clayey material, dam being laid perpendicular to front of clayey material, perpendicular to front of extension of flow of tailings and at some distance from guarding dam determined by formula L = H/tgα, where H is height from foot of guarding dam to horizontal axis of distribution pulp line, m; α is angle of natural slope of tailings forming cone of alluvium in front of separating dam, deg. Width of foundation of slope of distribution dam on side opposite to direction of flow of tailings is chosen to be value at least twice bigger than height of separating dam, tailings being deposited on separating dam. Large fractions are deposited over external technological section of beach and small fractions are deposited over internal technological section of beach. Guarding dam is simultaneously built up by banking up large fractions of sand of beach of alluvium of previous layer and separating dam is built up with use of delivered rock. Distribution pulp line is laid anew on crest of built-up guarding dam on completion of built-up of due layer of guarding dam. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of formation of man-made deposit thanks to change of rate of movement of tailings and shedding of particles of small fractions of alluvium beach. 2 dwg
