FIELD: polymeric materials for use in ionizing radiation environment at high temperatures. SUBSTANCE: thermosetting composite has Compound 1 and Compound 2. Compound 1 is made of Component groups A and C, mass percent of Component group C being 7.5 to 17.5 of content of group A materials in Compound 1. Component group A materials may be semisynthetic vulcanized and chlorinated polymers. Materials of Component group C are added to Compound 1 to improve its radiation protection and radiation resistance; they are, essentially, compounds of barium and/or of elements of same group as barium in Mendeleev s periodic table. Compound 2 is mixture of materials of Component groups B and D, mass percent of Component group D materials being 0.5 to 7,5 of content of Component group B materials in Compound 2. Component group B includes any of compounds such as polyamides or polyamide resins, and also it may include phenol-platinum resin and/or vinyl-platinum resin. Base polymeric materials of Component group D are phenol-formaldehyde and/or platinum-vinyl polymers. Component group D may also include some additives. EFFECT: enhanced resistance to ionizing radiation, strength and resistance to high temperatures. 6 cl, 2 dwg
