FIELD: ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy; heavy duty cranes (8K,7K). SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of reconditioning of crane tracks. Proposed rail-and-beam structure has crane runway beam with upper belt, wall and lower belt. Crane beam is reinforced by split hollow four-head rail 2 made of four identical quarter parts which form closed tubular contour divided by upper belt of crane beam into two halves. Each quarter part has two heads orientated vertically and horizontally and fitted on necks. Each neck is connected with orthogonally directed curvilinear wall with curvature pointed outwards which is preferable as moment of inertia of rail at torsion sharply increases. Oval holes orientated along rail are broached in necks of each quarter part. Upper and lower halves of rails enclose upper belt of crane beam being connected with upper belt by means of studs. Left-hand and right-hand quarter parts of lower half enclose wall of beam also being connected with beam by studs. Holes in wall and upper belt of crane beam are made either round or oval, being orientated along belt. EFFECT: facilitated restoration of serviceability of crane track structure, increased service life, improved repairability and increased load bearing capability. 2 dwg
