FIELD: crane track structures for heavy- duty cranes. SUBSTANCE: proposed rail unit is made of cross section and four rails, two of which are main ones and two other, brake ones. Cross section contains vertical member intersecting with chute-like member provided with horizontal sections at left-hand and right-hand sides. Foot of each main rail is undercut in one plane with corresponding side surface of rail head. Main rails, adjoining at two sides vertical member, are installed symmetrically relative to said member and are connected to the latter forming common head. Each brake rail, pointed by its head outwards the track, rests by its neck on horizontal section of chute-like member and is connected with the latter. Method of restoration of serviceability of crane track structure comes to the following: first defective crane beam, together with brake beam and rail is demounted. Then 1/5-1/6 part of wall adjoining upper chord is cut out and also brake sheet of brake beam. Coinciding holes are drilled in cut upper chord, in additionally used two channels and in rail unit described above. Brake beam is manufactured by connecting brake sheet at one side with web of one of said channels, and at other side, with outer chord of brake beam. Upper chord is welded again to beam wall and brake beam is connected with upper chord. Other channel is installed symmetrically to first said channel relative to axis on upper chord and is also secured on upper chord. Crane beam is mounted together with brake beam and said rail unit is installed by translationally moving it along channels from end of crane track structure. Holes in rail unit and in channels are aligned, and unit and channels are connected into common unit. EFFECT: improved operating capabilities of rail, restoration of serviceability of crane track structure. 3 cl, 7 dwg
