FIELD: mechanical engineering; metal structures for heavy-duty cranes. SUBSTANCE: proposed crane runway metal structure for heavy duty cranes (7k-8k) has crane runway beam with tubular upper chord, round on elliptical in cross section, triple-head rail with central and side heads. crane main wheel acts central head of rail, and crane side rollers act onto side heads of rail in horizontal plane. Triple-head rail follows by its foot tubular upper chord enclosing the latter and tightly getting to it. Triple-head rail is connected with upper chord by means of safety horizontal studs. brake beam is displaced downwards relative to horizontal axis of upper tubular chord through 0.2-0.3 of vertical size of tubular chord. Displacement is made to provide safe clearance between side roller of crane and brake beam. Crane runway beam and brake beam are interconnected in 1/3-1.4 of span by its rolled from angle or T-beam over smooth curve. EFFECT: simplified design of rail, improved reliability of crane runway structure and its fastening. 3 dwg
