CARBONIZER (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2191209 C2

FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: carbonizer comprises carboniferous components: wastes of carboniferous products, coke, hard coal, charcoal, artificial and argentous graphite, binder, oxidized crucible graphite. Binder is water glass. Components are used in the following ratio, wt%: oxidized crucible graphite 0.5-5; water glass 1-3; carboniferous components the balance. Carbonizer is made in the form of three-dimensional geometric figure and comprises carboniferous components and water glass as binder used in an amount of 1-3 wt%. Carbonizer surface is covered with oxidized graphite coat having thickness of from 1 micron to 1 mm. EFFECT: increased efficiency and accessibility. 3 cl, 2 tbl
