FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of preparing saturated acid metal salts named as metallic soaps used as additions for polymeric composites. Method of preparing saturated acid metal salts is carried out by saponification of waste with alkali at heating and the following addition of water to hydrolyzate formed in the amount that is equal or 1.5-2.0-fold above as compared with hydrolyzate followed by addition of zinc, calcium or barium salts or their mixtures characterized by that product of profound processing vegetable oils is used as fatty waste and 8-12% sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide is used as alkali. Saponification process is carried out at temperature 80-90 C for 3 h. Method ensures to utilize manufacture waste polluting environment.
