FIELD: machine engineering, namely processes for induction surfacing of wear resistant powdered alloys onto friction assemblies and movable joints of machines and apparatuses of transport equipment such as cars, locomotives, railway road track machines, parts of upper structure of railway road track. SUBSTANCE: method comprises induction metallurgical surfacing of wear resistant material and its dynamic recrystallization at contact of frictional surfaces. Surfacing is realized with use of wear resistant alloys subjected to austenite conversion in contact zone at formation of finely dispersed carbide phase with grain size 2-8 mcm and with microhardness H 0.98 12000-17000 MPa. At such process oxide film is created in contact zone. Dynamic recrystallization is provided due to creation of specific contact pressure that is no more than 1100 kg/sq.cm while sustaining elastoplastic properties of surfaced alloys. Thickness of oxide film formed in contact zone consists 0.2-0.3 mcm. EFFECT: possibility for controlling wear resistance of friction pairs at dynamic loads. 3 cl, 9 dwg, 1 ex, 1 tbl
