FIELD: machine engineering, namely working blanks in face grinding machine tools with reciprocation motion of working table. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting mutual relative motion to blank and tool; uniformly and continuously realizing in-feed by means of device for microfeeding blanks for the whole grinding cycle except last one or several doubled strokes of machine tool table. It enhances quality of ground surfaces of blanks worked in face grinding machine tools as grinding disc smoothly enters blanks gradually increasing cutting depth.
