FIELD: separation of aerodispersed materials with solid fractions from 50 mcm and lesser; industries where separation with classification of fractions is required. SUBSTANCE: method of pneumatic separation of dispersed material includes introduction of aerodispersed flow into circular space by twisting in contraction space; circular cavity formed by first section of taper surface of working member and taper section of body is used as contraction space; flow is directed to diffuser space; used as diffuser space are circular cavities formed by second section of taper surface of working member smoothly connected with first section of taper surface of working member over maximum diameter and taper sections of body coaxially embracing the working member, thus rotating the body and working member in one direction; fractions of dispersed material are discharged between tiers of taper sections of body in diffuser space. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation at simultaneous fraction-by-fraction classification. 1 dwg
