FIELD: separating solids from solids.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises directing the air-dispersed flow into the rotating conical housing when it is swirled in the converging space and directing the flow into the ring diffuser space. The fractions of the dispersed material are discharged through the ring slots arranged along the height of the housing. The converging space is made of the vertical branch pipe with deflector mounted coaxially to the diverging vertical branch pipe in its wide section. The diffuser space is made of a space between concentric inner and outer trancated conical surfaces converging toward the wide section of the diverging vertical branch pipe.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of separation.
