FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of solid fine particles from gases. Method comprises feeding air-dispersed flow into case made up of helical turns 1 of pipeline, separating fine particles at every turn, displacing them over adjustable solid surface 5 at increasing centrifugal forces thereon in adjusting gas flow rate at every said turn, settling grain size fractions at bottom of every turn and discharging the latter via holes 7 made at pipeline bottom reinforced length 7 in adjusting shape and size of holes 7 by varying pipeline pressure. Note here that pipeline helical turns feature different-strength walls. Said pipeline envelopes said solid surface. Number of variable-pitch turns is set to equal quantity of fractions. Note also that turn adjustable radii of curvature, permeability and cross-section decrease in flow direction.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, power savings.
