FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to separation of aerodisperse materials with solid fractions from 250 mcm to 5 mcm and may be used in industries, where apart from separation it is required to classify fractions of disperse material. Method for pneumatic separation of disperse material consists in the fact that aerodisperse flow is directed inside body, introduced for separation into fractions into annular spaces created by body and rotary working element installed coaxially in body, during swirling in the first annular space, such as annular cavity created between body and working element, and direction into the second annular space, then disperse material fractions are withdrawn using annular slot. Direction of aerodisperse flow is realised inside fixed cylindrical body tangentially. The second annular space is annular cavity created by external surface of internal cylinder of working element and internal surface of external cylinder of working element. These coaxial cylinders are rotated in the same direction. Air is exhausted via the second annular space, and disperse material fractions are withdrawn in lower part of body and through annular slot of external cylinder of working element.
EFFECT: increased extent of disperse material separation with simultaneous provision of air flow purification via the second annular space.
