FIELD: sugar-producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of massecuite and molasses to accelerating device of conical centrifuge rotor and inertial unloading of sugar crystals. Molasses is preliminarily diluted with hot water up to 74-80% of dry substance, heated to temperature of 38-46 C corresponding to minimal viscosity of massecuite and used in amount of 0.5-1.5% of its weight. Massecuite is mixed with molasses and separated in thin layer on rotor filtering surface. Separated crystals and molasses are withdrawn from rotor. Vacuum within 0.8-1.0 kPa is created in centrifuge body round rotor filtering surface. EFFECT: higher degree of separation of massecuite in centrifuge, improved quality of sugar crystals of final crystallization and reduced losses of sugar in molasses. 1 dwg
