SUBSTANCE: tamping machine has track lifting set for levelling and straightening of main track installed between running wheels just before tie, viewing in the direction of working movement, and made for displacement in height by means of drives. main track forms plane of track and running mechanisms move alone this track. Machine has additional lifting device for lifting switch track branching from main track. Measuring system for controllable lifting of switch is coupled with track lifting set. Said measuring system consists of mechanical measuring device with measurand transmitter to couple track lifting set with additional lifting device and is made for telescopic elongation crosswise the machine. Invention provides automatic and accurate coordination of operation of track lifting set and additional lifting device.
