FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: before tamping the ties, track is set in temporary position and after tamping, position of track is measured and results obtained are entered into calculated device for calculating final position to exclude mistake caused by wavy profile of track and value of corrections is determined as difference between temporary position and final position of track and static load and/or transferce forces acting onto track are changed within the limits of track position stabilization and with due account of corrections to provide setting of track in final position. EFFECT: improved quality of tie tamping. 5 dwg
