METHOD FOR INFLUENCING BONE TISSUE REPARATIVE REGENERATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing bone defect zone to high frequency electromagnetic field in alternating two action units during the first days after operation. Each of the units is designed as resonance oscillation circuit and has inductance coil and capacitor connected in series. The first action unit has cylindrical inductance coil with detachable winding. The second action unit has flexible dielectric ribbon bearing M flat inductance coils which windings are connected in series and concordantly. When applying action, amplitude-modulated sinusoid signal which carrying frequency belongs to 100-1000 kHz and modulation frequency to 10-1000 kHz range is sent to action unit outputs. Two procedures of 15 min duration are administered daily. The first procedure is done by means of the first action unit and the second one with the second action unit. 3-5 ml of blood is taken from patient vein and 2-3 ml of calcium gluconate are injected into bone defect zone beginning from the seventh day after the operation. The procedures are administered three times a day every second day and then pause is taken for 7 days and the then the procedures are repeated. Preparations containing calcium salts are applied to skin beginning from the tenth day after the operation. Eight procedures are applied every second day and then the procedures are done daily during 25-30 days. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
