FIELD: shipbuilding; machines using sea wave energy for motion of ships and generation of electric power. SUBSTANCE: wave- powered propulsion plant includes horizontal shaft on which swivel hydrofoils and keels are mounted. Hydrofoils are interconnected by means of kinematic linkage and at least one hydrofoil is just control unbalanced hydrofoil. Besides that, proposed machine is provided with propeller and electric machine kinematically linked with horizontal shaft. Gear ratio of linkage from horizontal shaft to propeller is less than one and gear ratio from electric machine to horizontal shaft is more than one. Proposed machine have improved service characteristics due to possibility of forming thrust at low swell. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 2 dwg
