FIELD: mechanical engineering; continuous operation heavy duty cranes. SUBSTANCE: proposed crane runway structure has two rail lines of tracks resting on crane runway structure has two rail lines of tracks resting on crane runway beam. Said beam is made of single tube, diameter 1-1.4 of distance between rail tracks, and provided with longitudinal ribs. Each rail is made asymmetrical arch-shaped in section. Rail arch has two arms smoothly changing into corresponding feet following the surface of tube. Rail feet are connected with crane runway beam by means of hollow rivets with fitted in core. Feet of parallel asymmetrical arch rails located higher are interconnected by adjusting studs, pitch 2-3 m, and feet located lower provided with side heads which take up horizontal loads from crane guide rollers. vertical loads from crane main wheels are taken up by main heads of arch rails. Structure is reinforced by section balancing metal sheet. EFFECT: increased service life of crane runway structure, reduced material usage. 3 dwg
