FIELD: mechanical engineering; crane-way structures. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crane-way of heavy cranes. Proposed triple-head rail contains main head taking up vertical loads and two side heads located at edges of foot and taking up horizontal loads. Rail foot is described by circular arc. Rail is balanced. Balance of section is provided by equality of static moments of upper and lower halves of section relative to horizontal axis passing through gravity center of section and dividing the section into two equal parts. EFFECT: improved functional capabilities of rails and provision of shock absorbing properties. 3 dwg
