FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to process of deposition of wear-resistant composite materials on internal and external surfaces of cylindrical steel parts by methods of powder metallurgy. Process includes manufacture of cylindrical billet of part with cylindrical protrusion in lower part directed towards deposited surface, assembly of matrix from cylindrical part and mould with cylindrical protrusion to form ring space between billet and mould. Protrusion of mould is positioned above protrusion of billet. Wear-resistant composite material is pressed into specified ring space layer by layer. After this ring is laid on surface of pressed layer of wear- resistant composite material, material is impregnated with binding alloy in vacuum furnace and is later subjected to machining. Cylindrical protrusion of part billet is completed by shrink or forced fit allowance to form leak-tight connection between part billet and mould in lower part. Mould is produced from high-chromium stainless steel. Surface contacting surface of wear-resistant composite material is oxidized in furnace with air atmosphere to form chromium oxide. Prior to machining matrix is subjected to oil hardening. To improve adhesion cylindrical toothed grooves are cut along entire length of part billet at equal distance on side of deposition of composite material.
