FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: method, which may be used in making uppers, facing leather, and clothing leather from pig offal, the latter is washed and twice defatted using intermediate washing. After that material is softened and pickled in presence of emulsion resistant to electrolytes and taken in amount 0.4-0.6% of the weight of offal (on conversion to 100% fat) and then subjected to chrome tanning in presence of magnesium compound in amount 0.30-0.35% of the weight of offal and degreased.
