FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: boring bar has body, cutter holder arranged in body, inclined relative to axis of bar and provided with threaded surface and with seat for cutting members and rigidly secured to body by means of dowel; limb and elastic member such as spring, both designed for engaging with cutter holder. Boring bar has additional limb designed for engaging with body, mounted in boring bar with possibility of motion; and tensioner designed for engaging with elastic member and with boring bar.
