FIELD: tests of density of class of liquids with similar physical-chemical properties. SUBSTANCE: propagation velocity of ultrasonic waves in liquid is determined in agreement with method and density of liquid is established by it. Dependencies of propagation velocity of ultrasound on temperature and propagation velocity on liquid are established beforehand for liquids with similar physical- chemical properties. Dependence of propagation velocity on density for tested liquid is chosen with due account of propagation velocity of ultrasound determined at fixed temperature and density of liquid is found by it. EFFECT: widened functional capabilities of ultrasonic method measuring density for class of liquids in wide temperature range. 3 dwg
