FIELD: mechanical engineering; liquid-or gas-lubricated bearings. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydrostatic bearing has body with radial passage communicated with lubricant delivery source, shaft and movable bush located in cavity between body and shaft. Bush forms slotted throttling clearance together with surface of shaft. Circular passages available in center plane of bearing on external and internal sides of bush are communicated with each other and with lubricant delivery source. External cylindrical surface of bush is provided with circular projections on both ends forming stepped throttling clearance between body and bush. Axial throttling clearances are formed between body and shaft and radial slotted throttling clearances are formed between end surfaces of bush and body. Drainage circular cavities are formed at point of their virtual intersection with stepped clearance. Proposed bearing provides for possibility of forming small, zero and negative pliability due to active compensation of lubricant consumption in bearing layer and retaining rotation of bush due to action of viscous friction forces in lubricant. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 3 cl, 1 dwg
