FIELD: medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, epidemiology. SUBSTANCE: the suggested method deals with diagnostics urogenital infections to be applied for prophylactic, control and curative investigations in parturient women and other female groups. The method deals with sampling biological vaginal material to conduct gene-amplification assay of cellular DNA, moreover, such sampling is performed from hygienic tampon after vaginal contact for not less than 6 h and placed after that into hermetically sealed polymeric container with liquid conservant eliminating bacterial growth. At carrying out geneamplification assay tampon should be 4-5 times squeezed out in container for complete cellular removal.
